Some notes about the Conference...

Richard Kamler spoke about The Search Light Project - Conversations on the Criminal Justice System, An Art Event - an interactive installation scheduled to take place on and around Alcatraz Island from mid-October 1996 through the end of the year.

There was discussion about the Internet as Public Space and as a medium for Art. Victoria Vesna [collaborator on the Bodies INCorporated web site] called the medium elitist but pointed out that at present it was truly a "public space" in which anyone with the skills could create in.
